Next Day & 2nd Day Air Shipping
Shipping
Most orders ship within 4 business days from the date the order is placed. Shipping times may vary depending on product availability.
Orders are typically shipped via USPS or UPS.
Any package refused at delivery will be treated as an unauthorized return and will be subject to a fee equal to the cost of return shipping back to French Sole.
If a package is reported missing during transit, French Sole will open an investigation with the shipping carrier and will follow the determination made by the carrier at the conclusion of the investigation.
French Sole is not responsible for packages once they are marked as delivered by the shipping carrier. Customers are responsible for providing a secure delivery location.
To help reduce the risk of lost or stolen packages, customers may select Signature Required shipping during checkout.
Please note: We do not ship to P.O. Boxes.
International Shipping
International orders are shipped via UPS. Delivery typically takes 4–10 business days; however, shipping times may vary depending on the destination and customs processing.
Please allow additional time for your package to clear customs, which may take anywhere from a few days to several weeks. Customs delays are outside of French Sole’s control.
Due to the shipping distance from the U.S. mainland, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico fall under our international shipping policy. Additional shipping charges may apply and will be added to the $12.00 standard shipping fee pending customer approval.
French Sole is not responsible for any customs duties, brokerage fees, taxes, or additional charges imposed by the shipping carrier or local customs authorities.
French Sole is not responsible for shipping delays caused by customs, carriers, or other circumstances beyond our control.

For orders shipped outside the United States, the shipping and billing address must match.
Next Day & 2nd Day Air Shipping
Orders requesting Next Day Air or 2nd Day Air delivery must be placed before 12:00 PM Eastern Time in order to ship the same business day.
Orders placed after 12:00 PM Eastern Time will be processed and shipped on the next business day.
Orders placed on weekends or major holidays will be processed and shipped on the next business day.
Please note that expedited shipping applies to transit time only and does not shorten order processing time.
Depending on the customer’s location, additional delivery surcharges may apply.
Free shipping promotions do not apply to Next Day Air or 2nd Day Air shipping options.

Return Policy
If for any reason a customer is unsatisfied with a full-priced item, we gladly accept returns within 30 days from the original delivery date. Returned merchandise must be received by French Sole within the 30-day period in order for a refund to be issued. Customers may also request an exchange instead of a refund within this timeframe.
Returns received after 30 days will be issued a website credit. Website credits are valid for 6 months. If an extension is required, please contact us before the expiration date. One additional one-month extension may be granted.
Condition of Merchandise
Shoes must be returned unworn, unaltered, and in the original shoe box. Any alterations—including but not limited to taps, dyeing, or other modifications—will render the item non-returnable.
Shoes returned with visible signs of wear or damaged packaging may be refused or subject to a restocking fee. French Sole reserves the right to refuse any return that does not meet these conditions.
Sale Items
All sale items are final sale and are not eligible for refunds. Final sale items may be exchanged for a different size or style, depending on availability, or a website credit may be issued.
Items priced at $80 and below are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange.
Any promo code used on full-priced merchandise will render the item final sale for refund purposes (exchange only).
Refund Processing
Once a return is received and inspected, refunds for eligible items will be processed within 6–10 business days. Please allow an additional 1–3 business days for the refund to appear on the original form of payment.
Shipping Fees
Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Customers may return items using their own shipping label. If a USPS prepaid return label is requested from French Sole, a 15% restocking fee will be applied to the order.
Please note that prepaid return labels are not provided for international orders.

Returns sent without the completed form will not be processed.
Store Policy (In-Store Purchases Only)
Store purchases follow a different policy than website orders.
For purchases made at our boutique or outlet locations:
• No refunds under any circumstances
• Exchanges may be made within 14 days
• Store credits are valid for 6 months

Exchange Policy
We offer one complimentary exchange per order for domestic purchases over $80, with shipping covered by French Sole both ways.
Items priced at $80 and below are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange.
All exchanges must be completed within 3 months from the original delivery date.
Additional Exchanges
If a second exchange is requested, the customer must use their own shipping label to return the item. French Sole will cover the cost of shipping the exchanged pair back to the customer.
For any exchanges beyond the second exchange, the customer will be responsible for shipping the item back to French Sole. In addition, a $12 shipping fee will be charged to ship the exchanged pair back to the customer.
If the customer prefers to use a French Sole prepaid USPS or FedEx return label, a 15% restocking fee will be applied.
International Orders
Please note that prepaid return labels and complimentary exchange shipping are not provided for international orders.

Final Sale Exchanges
If a final sale item is exchanged for a full-priced item, and a refund is later requested for the full-priced item, the refund will only be issued for the difference between the two items. The value of the original final sale item will be issued as a website credit.
How to Request an Exchange
To request an exchange, please complete the Exchange & Return Form and email us to receive a prepaid USPS or FedEx return label. This prepaid label may only be used for exchanges.
Once packaged, drop the shipment off at the nearest USPS or FedEx location, or contact FedEx directly to schedule a pickup.

Gift Cards
French Sole electronic gift cards may only be purchased and redeemed on frenchsoleshoes.com.
Gift cards are final sale, non-refundable, and non-reloadable.
Any remaining balance may be converted to website credit at any time. To process this request, the gift card holder must verify the original purchaser’s billing information or provide the last four digits of the gift card number.
Gift cards do not expire.
French Sole is not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards. Lost or stolen cards, including their corresponding card numbers, will not be replaced.
Sizing Information
All shoe sizes are listed in U.S. sizing. Please note that fit may vary depending on the style and construction of the shoe.
All of our shoes are made in medium width, though certain styles may accommodate narrower or wider feet more comfortably.
If a particular style does not fit true to size, a Size Notice explaining the fit will be included in the product description on that shoe’s page.

Materials & Craftsmanship
Depending on the style, most French Sole shoes are produced in Spain, Italy, France, Portugal, and Brazil.
Most of our shoes are made in a B (medium) width.
Upper materials may include leather, patent leather, suede, nubuck, fabric, or mesh, depending on the design.
Outsoles are typically made from leather, rubber, or elastomer, selected for durability and comfort.
